I have always had a soft spot for a talented typographic design. Usually a simple typo makes a very powerful impact. I admit that my skills in this area are limited in the use of free fonts available online, but that doesn't stop me from drooling pages like Sexy, Bold And Experimental Typography.
I have decided to further my ambitition and make a piece of art for the next Iwantyourskull publication. This should keep me challenged as the deadline is the beginning of May.
I love chocolate beyong dreams. Chocolate cheers my day. Want to make a friend, bring me a chocolate. If you have problem to think of a present for me, something like this would bring warmth to the bottom of my heart.
Alberto Seveso's work. I've been looking his work several times in the last few days. His style is very inspiring. The mix of female form and illustration is mind blowing.
I think this would present better the real guinness drinkers, dont you think!

Shoes
If all shoes would be like these, I would totally be a foot fetish. These are one yummy ones by Insa. He's painted the one of the tube wholecars in shoreditch, you know them if you've seen them.
I posted a while ago about Alexandre Orion’s pollution based project. Now this is the second part of the project. Orion has takes the sooth from the rags used for the original piece and made new paintings out of it. Brilliant.
I've seen the work of Kuksi before on other art gallery websites, but this was the first time I've ended up into his website. His work is very hard to describe. His sculptures are so detailed and intricate. What can I say, he's work leaves me without a word. See Kuksi website
Laundry Detergent Paintings
Remember my secret wall post. This time I show you a work of a painter whose work can only show up under UV light so would only be seen by someone taking the time to actually look for them. Check also his other art work. Paul Nowak’s laundry detergent paintings.
Finally I had a chance to attend a tattoo convention, I dreamed about it for over 6 months. Some of the worlds best artist were there, artists that I admire and who's work I would take on any time.
Some of my favorites were: Paul Booth, Filip Leu, Shige,Dan Simmons, Robert Hernandes, Liorcifer, TinTin...
Pictured here is an artist Horiren, one of the few Japanese female tattoo artists. She is self taught and used to be mural painter. Here she does traditional Tebori tattooing, which is a hand poking technique.
Time in the convention went really fast and I wouldn't have minded staying there for the three days it was on. I managed to control myself and only got myself a t-shirt, nothing to do with my prettier side being there as well, honest.
